Respirator fit testing helps determine if a respirator is a good fit for a workers face and if it is functioning properly by creating an adequate seal. A properly-fitted respirator helps protect workers from hazardous airborne gases and particles that can lead to illness or disease
Quantitative fit testing is a method that uses a machine to measure the amount of inward leakage to the facepiece. It does not rely on your sense of taste, smell, or irritation to detect leakage. CNP or Controlled Negative Pressure method can be used for any type of tight-fitting respirator, but it is mostly performed on full face respirators.
CitiSafe sells, services, and calibrates the OHD Quantifit2 fit test machine. The Quantifit2 is also available for rent or we will provide the fit test service to your employees.
