Responsibilities:
- Understand market and buyers’ needs and buying processes
- Develop marketing strategies and materials
- Develop business for current and new products, in the five key core markets (Oil & Gas, Fire/Hazmat, Marine, Environmental, and Industrial).
- Analyse market trends, gaps, competitors and opportunities
- Create demand for company products, directly with end user customers through sales visits, training demonstrations, and through joint sales calls
- Analyse market trends, gaps, competitors and opportunities
- Provide technical/marketing training to customers and sales channel partners.
- Participate in local and regional trade shows according to the marketing program.
- Assist technical team on project design/costing/implementation and follow up
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly
- Prepare technical quotations and sales materials
- Delivery high quality of work standards
- Meet or exceed pre-determined revenue goals
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in engineering, electrical, marketing discipline or equivalent
- Strong inter-personal, written, communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with sales cycle and sales reporting
- Customer-orientated with experience in managing customers at all levels
- Basic knowledge of chemistry, electrical circuits and wiring. Knowledge in industrial safety and/or PLC/SCADA will be added advantage
- A self-driven and proactive team player
- Must possess class 3 driving license and preferably own vehicle
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
